This Office deals only with policy matters and does not handle individual inquiries. Inquiries from French nationals regarding labor, health or welfare should be addressed to the Consulate General of France (Find your Consulate).
The Labor, Health and Welfare Office represents the French Ministries of Labor, Health and Social Affairs. It deals with three main areas:
- Labor and Employment Policies
- Health Care and Public Health Policies
- Welfare Policies
This Office is responsible for the analysis of healthcare, welfare and labor policies. It has ties and develops cooperation with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and its public health agencies (such as FDA, CDC, NIH...), the US Department of Labor, independent agencies such as SSA, EEOC, FMCS as well as State and local public authorities and private organizations (universities, think Tanks, NGO’s...).
