France condemns the Syrian army’s repeated incursions into Lebanon which, for the second time, have caused the deaths of people on Lebanese territory.

Syria must fully respect Lebanon’s sovereignty and independence.

We also call on the Lebanese authorities to ensure the protection of anyone fleeing the Syrian authorities’ bloody crackdown on its people./.
